Google Earth Project
My Google Earth project focused on Basketball in the Olympics. The idea was to highlight main features of Basketball in the Olympics (i.e. creation of basketball, first basketball olympics, first USA upset, women's basketball in Olympics).
This project includes the places where the highlights in Basketball were performed, along with pictures, videos, podcast, and a voice-thread.
*I would have my students log-in to Edmodo and reply to a homework question for participation points. Here's my question:
- "Now that you have been on my Olympic Basketball Tour, type in one interesting thing you learned from the text, video, or voice-thread. Also comment on one other person's comment. Remember that you are graded on participating."
